Old Schoolhouse Woodworking was started by Andre Bernier in 1987, named after the Old Schoolhouse in Petersburg ON. Myles worked alongside his father as soon as he could hold a hammer, learning all the tools and tricks of the trade. From father to son, craftsmanship was created: quality and care were passed on. In 2017, Myles incorporated the business and created Old Schoolhouse Woodworking Inc, bringing modern professionalism to a strong family tradition of excellence. As President since 2017 onwards, Myles has lead the company to new directions and expanded services into the rental property market, while retaining the original dedication to impeccable service.

Old Schoolhouse Woodworking Inc carries full liability insurance, and Myles is also WSIB insured. Myles carries his working-at-heights certification and brings a careful, considerate and safe approach to each and every project. In addition to his years of hands-on experience working with Andre, Myles added to his knowledge and skill-set by completing the Renovation Technician diploma through Conestoga College: Old-world hands-on experience meets professional modern training and techniques.

He will visit your home or worksite, inspect the aspects of your project, and provide his professional feedback, advice and estimate. Myles understands the need to work within your budget. For your larger projects, Myles has established professional relationships with plumbers, electricians, roofers and excavators.
